Most residential fences are completed in one to three working days once materials are on hand and utilities are located. Larger residential, ranch, and commercial projects are scheduled and phased with you in advance. Weather can move dates — we'll communicate if it does.

Not usually, as long as we have access to the work area and any pets are secured. We do a final walk-through with you at completion to check every line and adjust every gate.

Many Oklahoma cities require a permit or zoning clearance for new fences, and requirements vary by city, fence height, and location on the lot (corner lots and front yards often have extra rules). Your Omni salesperson will advise you on your city's requirements as part of your estimate and guide you through what's needed. When in doubt, we check with the city before we build — not after.

Your plat, mortgage survey, or existing survey pins are the starting point; a licensed surveyor is the definitive answer if pins can't be found or a boundary is disputed. We build where you direct us on your property — and we strongly recommend confirming lines and talking with neighbors before setting posts. It's far cheaper than moving a fence.

Many HOAs regulate fence height, material, color, and orientation (finished side out is a common rule). Bring your covenants to your estimate — our salespeople work with HOA requirements every week and can help you submit for approval.

Yes. Underground utility lines are located before we dig post holes — it's a standard, non-negotiable step of every Omni installation.

There's no single "best" — there's best for your purpose. Cedar gives warmth and privacy at a strong price; vinyl trades a higher up-front cost for near-zero maintenance; ornamental iron gives security with open views and is ideal for pools; chain link is the workhorse for pure containment value; and pipe or wire fencing is the standard for livestock. Oklahoma's wind matters in all of them — which is why we offer steel-post wood fences and build to wind-country standards. Your salesperson will lay out the trade-offs honestly.

Deep enough for the fence's height, soil, and wind load — set in concrete, every time. Post depth is the single biggest difference between a fence that leans in three years and one that stands for decades, and it's where cut-rate installers save their money. We don't.

Yes, if you want it to keep its color and shed water — stain is sunscreen for wood. New fences should cure before staining; we offer professional stain and seal service for new and existing fences.

Two layers: the full manufacturer's warranty on every product we install, and Omni's lifetime workmanship warranty on the installation itself. If our craftsmanship ever fails, we repair it. You receive both in writing at completion.
